RKC "NO-MO" Fishing Tournament
Saturday, May 8, 2010
Know what a "NO-MO" Fishing Tournament is? It's a "non-motorized" tournament for kayakers, canoeists or any other non-motorized form of water transportation! Kayak fishing is become very popular and RKC is proud to partner up with our friend and kayak fishing pro, Chris LeMessurier, to host this 1st annual tournament right here in Wyandotte.
This unique tournament is also "Catch-Photo-Release (CPR)," which means all fish will be measured and photographed before releasing back into the water. Anglers may "weigh-in" one fish from each of the "Slam" Categories available (i.e. Bass, Teeth or Wild Card). Once the tournament has ended, everyone will join back up at the shop to determine the winners!
1st Place (Total Slam Length) - will recieve a Wilderness Systems Tarpon 120 Kayak, 2nd Place - $100 Gift Certificate to Hook 1, 3rd Place - Kayak Fishing Rigging Package, and the largest single fish will win a custom made kayak fishing rod by Tietge Fishing!
Cost per participant is $20 (cash or check due at registration)
Those that register before April 15th will receive an offical tournament t-shirt and RKC "Swag Bag" full of other fishing goodies. Participants are required to attend the Captains Meeting the night before the tournament (Friday, May 7, 2010 6:00 p.m. at RKC) to recieve their offiical measuring tape, registration packets, rules and guidelines.
Registration forms available at RKC, so stop in and register today! Additional details will also be available at: www.RiversideKayak.com
