The Downtown Development Authority (DDA) coordinates and supports activities to promote, recruit, and retain the economic viability of Downtown Wyandotte. It also acts as an advocate for a safe, clean and attractive central business district. As part of its mission, the DDA works to promote economic growth by combining public and private resources and initiatives that, together, help drive development and position Wyandotte and its downtown for success. The DDA also works in conjunction with the Wyandotte Business Association (WBA) to host Special Events in the Downtown District.
Mission Statement
The Wyandotte Downtown Development Authority shall initiate and coordinate downtown development through design, business recruitment, promotion and the effective use of private and public space for an attractive, festive downtown atmosphere. Adopted January 9th, 2006
The Downtown Development Authority is comprised of citizens who represent businesses and property owners of the Downtown District. The Downtown Development Authority Director and the Mayor of the City of Wyandotte also sit on the DDA Board. Members are appointed under the authority of the Mayor of the City of Wyandotte, and serve a term of four years.

DDA Meetings
Wyandotte's Downtown Development Authority meets @ 5:30 pm, the 2nd Tuesday of the month. Meetings are held in City Council Chambers and are open to the public. Time is allocated on the agenda for input from the public.
Hours of work
Monday thru Friday 8:00 to 5:00. Office is closed on holidays or when other city offices are closed.
Locations
Second Floor of Wyandotte City Hall next to to the Mayors Office.
City Hall is located @ 3131 Biddle Avenue, aprox. two blocks N. of Eureka on the E. side of the street.
